I met
Sarah last September at
WCGIP and she shared how

disturbed she was with the conditions of the
street kids near where she lives. So last July, she gathered a few of them on a Sunday afternoon and

started sharing bible stories. As she went on each Sunday, she noticed how pale and seemingly weak they

were for most have never had eaten. Biscuits was what she can afford and that was enough. Then the group grew to 40 plus kids and so did Sarah - about
12 volunteers from different churches found their way.

They are no longer just feeding them spiritually but providing food as well.
I spent a day with the volunteers and Sarah and led the group in a strategic planning. I also gave some

inputs on
Transformational Development. I was greatly encouraged to see their hearts for God. Most of the volunteers are in-between jobs and even had to source out funds to cover their transportation. Last Sunday, I get to join the group and meet some of the kids.

They served
pancit and the kids ate a lot.
One kid ate less and thought of bringing some food for his other siblings! Then a few mothers have joined the group so they also have a bible study session for them. My heart goes out to the workers and the people they minister to.

This initiative is an assurance that God is moving among His people. Even if the pastors and leaders are not ready, God will call out the youth to go out into the community and be His
ambassadors of hope! Our prayer is that we can send some of the kids to school come June. It only takes
$10 a month per child. Hopefully, many will be moved to share.
